Actually, I disagree. If you're riding properly, your weight should be
on your sit bones, and there should be little or no genital discomfort.
Have your ride position checked out by your LBS. If you have a severe
ache or sharp pain, particularly if it's worse on one side or the other,
get checked by a doc ASAP. Lots of great things have been said about
Lance's brave fight against cancer, and I am one of his many fans, but
the fact is he waited way too long to get checked out and damn near paid
for it with his life.

You can try moving your seat forward, this will move your weight to
less sensitive areas.

Yes I had pain for a long time, but it turned out it wasn't related to
cycling, the bike was just aggravating the problem. I agree with another
poster: if it persists definitely see a doctor. Years ago I had a
persistent pain in one testicle. It worried me and I went through lots
of testings, some two or three times. Turned out I was wearing boxers,
my boyz weren't getting enuf support and it was causing strain on some
thing that was connected to them. In short, I sprained my balls.
