overwhelm again

I need to pick a room, any room and start. I know to do 15 min at a time (I think it may be 5 min at a time for me today) and just start. The kids play room has to be dealt with, but I'm going to need help with that so I'll wait for Saturday. Right now the plan is to take the kid to school, come home and make coffee and start on something ... and stick with it until it looks like I have done something.

I need to pick a room, any room and start. I know to do 15 min at a time (I
think it may be 5 min at a time for me today) and just start. The kids play
room has to be dealt with, but I'm going to need help with that so I'll wait
for Saturday.
Right now the plan is to take the kid to school, come home and make coffee
and start on something ... and stick with it until it looks like I have done
something.

However, the OP made me think I was reading about my life at the
moment. I wait until the kids are gone to cull through the toys in the
playroom, as we just have too many in the house, and if they are here
they will try to rescue everything.

They can help pick it up, but they can't help rip up the carpet. Which is
what I'm doing today.
I can't move the dresser in the toy room, it's to big.

It's amazing what a person can do 5 min at a time 🙂
So far 2 bedrooms have had the carpet ripped out. And I'm doing it alone w/
the 'help' of a 2 year old.
It helps me to break a big task down into parts that I can manage. Today, I
have managed well. 🙂
