    My Campy bottom bracket has ingested some grit and is awfully noisy
    and rough. LBS indicates that it is a sealed unit and is not
    serviceable.

    Is this indeed true? I've ridden Campagnolo gear for the past 35 years
    and have always counted on their serviceability...

    Bearings may be replaced as far as I know... Same as last sq taper
    Chorus/Record bb. Cannot service the carts but can replace.
