I had problems with my ankle and I found out today that I have a
stress fracture in my tiberis. Anyone know of any good exercises or
such that I could stay in shape for track. Thanks for the help.

track season. Also, if you have a local indoor pool that is warm in
the winter. I would spend as much time in there as possible. I would
be willing to bet that you over trained to early in the season?John

Yes, stand on your good, uninjured leg, and spin counterclockwise for
3 minutes, then 3 mins the other way. The centrifugal force helps it
heel much faster. -

They have spinning classes at a lot of gyms. They involve getting on a
stationary bike for a while and varying speed and resistance. Spinning bikes
are different from a lot of stationary bikes, in that they are designed to be
usable standing on the pedals, out of the saddle -- you get a much more
challenging workout if you stand on the pedals for some of it.Cheers,

might want to look at where she runs, her shoes, and overtraining.
She needs not only to recover frm the injury but learn how to prevent
it. -
