  1. Anyone here know anything for sure about this event? Info on the net would
    suggest that it's on the 18th, the 19th or the 26th of September.

    What is it ? Where is the information on the net ?
    It may be organized by Otter Controls, a large employer here in Buxton.

    Sat, 18th Sept., according to Runners' World.

    Used to be organized by Otter, now done by Buxton Community College.

    Sat, 18th Sept., according to Runners' World.

    But given that they can't spell the organisers name properly and that they
    give the wrong number, it doesn't exactly inspire confidence!

    Be that as it may, other sources would seem to indicate that it is
    definitely on the 18th, which is b*gger all use to me. :-(

    I was really hoping it was one of the other dates as that date just isn't
    possible for me this year.

    ps. Are you going to do the London marathon in 2005? That way you'll be
    able to sleep easy after having taken my money under false pretences this
    year. ;-)
