I detest the idea of spying on the individual. OTOH I am strongly of
the opinion that when dangerous, heavy machinery is used in a public
place it makes a great deal of sense to keep track of when and where it
is used. I like the idea of keeping track of motor vehicles.

Firstly, I *am* the OP. Secondly, I wrote nothing along the lines of
"here's one back at the cars". Thirdly, if you're thinking of someone
else, I haven't seen anyone else writing anything along those lines in
this thread either.
