Others making octalink bottom brackets now??

They state they work with all shimano groups. I have a FSA team
carbon octalink crankset and assume this would work with it?

Octalink II or I? I only see II, and FSA, Truvativ both have their own
external BBs, too.

My cranks are octalink one. The more shallow grove ones that came out
first.

I assume that token don't mention octalink as its a shimano trademark?

If this token BB fits dura ace, ultegra, 105 it would have to be octalink
one too wouldnt' it. As far as I know only the lower end stuff is octalink
two at the moment?

I just don't really want a shimano BB. The new outer BB's would fit my
cranks i assume though even though they are designed for the new shimano
crank models.

You're confusing Octalink I & II with Hollowtech I & II. Octalink I has the
shallower grooves, and was used on DA7700, Ult6500, 105-5500, and is still
used on Tiagra & Sora. Octalink II has the deeper grooves, and was used with
last-gen XTR, XT and LX. It's still used on Deore.

Hollowtech I is independent of BB interface, and just means the arms are
hollow.

Hollowtech II Shimano's trademark for the new 2-piece style with the
outboard bearings. They don't have a patent on the design though, and
everybody and their dog is now doing 2-piece cranks with outboard bearings.
So, the reason they don't mention Octalink is because they're not Octalink.
The outboard-bearing style don't have a spindle (that's part of the crank)
and if you have Octalink I, you won't have anything to bolt your crankarms
to if you tried the Token BBs you link to.
