Sue is fine. She went home for Christmas and is back in the city now. You will hear from her as soon

She's fine. I heard from her via email earlier this week. She was visiting and being visited, so
she's been busy.

Here I am! December is the busy time of year for me, personally and at work :P

Funny you should mention the flannel sheets (I prefer jersey, but close enough!). My brother and
sister each wanted (and got) electric blankets to replace their old ones. I feel liberated from all
that. Fuzzy sheets (and extra blankies when needed) work for me.

I visited my family around Christmas, enjoying the chaos and the food of my people- Utica greens,
pastaciotti, tomato pie, chicken riggies, etc. When I got back, I had a foodie trip in Manhattan
with a visiting friend, capped off with a dinner at Babbo, where I've wanted to eat for a long time.
(Report of the day cut and pasted below. I'm not very good at the WWT stuff, as you'll note ;>😉

These days I'm doing spring cleaning because I won't be able to do it in the spring (another busy
time) and I can't take it anymore!!! So I spend a couple hours in the cellar each day, moving stuff
from one pile to the other, hoping that with each shift, the total mass is getting smaller and more
organized. I knock myself out, then spend a couple hours vegging out in front of the TV or working
on the piles of newspapers and magazines.

If I'm lucky I'll have enough milk (for tea) to last until Monday, when I will venture out to go to
work to get some rest...

Barbara really wanted to go to Katz's, so we started there with an early lunch (around 11:15). It
was not crowded at all, which was very nice. We then went to a Polish butcher, Kurowycky where
Barbara picked up some kielbasa. We then continued up to Agata & Valentina for some prosciutto bread
and a bit of cheese. We browsed in a wonderful furniture store, a high-end version of the Bombay
Company, which I love.

We took the M79 bus to Am. Museum of Natural History. We were going to go to an IMAX show but
they only had one seat left for the show we wanted :< Instead we saw another exhibit (Petra, City
of Stone).

We then went to Chelsea Market, stopping in Amy's Bread and Buon Italia for a few delectibles.
Barbara bought a tagine at Marakesh. She was happy because she'd wanted one for several years. We
ended our tour of Chelsea Market right there, forgoing Bowry Kitchen supplies, because we couldn't
carry any more!

We got to Babbo for an expensive but incredible dinner worth-every-penny (one wonders "Can Mario
Batali do anything wrong?" This is the third restaurant of his that I've eaten at and they are all
fabulous).

It was one of those days when everything fell together nicely, especially the transportation. (Our
"Fun Passes" got a real workout!) The weather was mild too.

Sue(tm) Lead me not into temptation... I can find it myself!

Nancy, would you believe that one of Sue's Foodie stops, Agata and Valentina is two blocks from
where I live. Sue didn't even wave to me when she went there. That's what's called a FINK!!!! :o)
