Nice shots. I grew up in the suburbs (Silver Spring, MD), but I'm not sure I ever saw the cherry blossoms in person. (Never took any DC "tours", either.)

And be pummeled by 1000 cops and secret service? I was thinking what would happen if I accidently walked across the street in front of the limo and he hit me? Can I sue? I pobably would have been shot before my foot left the curb. I was awfully close though. I am surprised they go through all the trouble of now blocking off access to the White House for blocks (I had to take a picture from what seemed like NJ), yet he just drives down the road ten feet from unknown people.
When I got to the hotel room I turned on the TV and he was giving a press conference at the Freedom House. I guess that's where he was going.

It's funny . . I just watched The Vanishing for the first time yesterday. Kiefer has ruined himself for any other role. I kept waiting for him to kill someone or say there wasn't enough time, or that millions of people would die. He did pretty much kick the [censored] out of Jeff Bridges though. That was a little hard to take . . . the Dude as an evildoer.
