on rice fields. Just like eating a rabbit - tastes like chicken!

No. I had already eaten when we passed those food stands. Even if I
was hungry I don't think I would have tried those. I was tempted by the
little sea horses on sticks at another stand, though, they looked quite
crunchy/chewy.

I had fried scorpion in China once, but it was served in a nice
restaurant on chips. In fact, they taste a lot like a potato chip
with legs. I didn't eat the barb at the end of the tail though (not
sure if I was supposed to, but figured I was too far from decent
medical assistance if something went horribly wrong).

Ah, yes, all the kids in Guilin were eating those. I'm pretty sure they
were pigeons. They looked good but a major PITA to eat.

Also in Guilin was where we wanted to try one of the steamed fish dishes.
The one I had picked the waitress gestured was going to be too big for the
two of us so she picked another one. When it arrived there were 9 scary
looking 5" long fish from the river on the plate. Very tasty but they were
so small that avoiding the bigger bones was difficult and we think some of
the smaller bones gave Kimberly some stomach problems.

We had a lot of Tsingtao that night so we reassembled the fish as best we
could after we were done eating them.
