OK a weather joke as it is still raining felines and canines.

One winter a young lad moves to a new Scottish town, far away from his place
of birth. The snow falls, the skies are grey.
As spring comes the weather begins to warm up. The rain falls the skies are
grey.
Easter comes. It's raining. Easter goes. It's still raining.
April passes. The floods rise.
May passes along with the showers.
And our young chap is getting a bit sad [*]
So at the beginning of June he finds his neighbour, an old chap, and asks
him "when does summer come around here".
The old chap thinks for a while before answering:
"Och, it's nae so simple. Last year for example, it was on a Tuesday"
