  1. I know there are a few closet roadies / TdF lovers here. Lance to win
again, or someone else to usurp him?

Won't be Lance. Every athlete fails when they bed a pretty starlett (aka
    Sheryl Crow).

Then he should do fine, Sheryl Crow is a lipless busted looking sorry excuse
for a woman. And her music sucks.

But on a cycling related note, I'd love to see Lance win another, but I'm
excited to see what a healthy Hamilton can do.

I'd like to see OLN do live webcasts for at least a few of the stages, after
all, I still have to show up at work.

Rooting for anyone else but Lance. Realistically speaking though, hard to
see him losing. Will be interesting to see what Ullrich, Hamilton and Mayo
can do. Too bad Vinokourov is out, Ullrich could have used him in the
hills. Wonder why T-Mobile left Evans off the team.

    Cheers,

Let me pull out the crystal ball...

The biggest news of the year is that Vino is out. I think that's the break
LA needed to pull out #6. It will be an ugly win because of the strength of
    the field.

    LA
    JU
    TH

I think the stronger teams are really going to try and tear it apart if
there is a crosswind or on the cobbles to make up for the handicapped TTT.

My crystal ball goes blank... it's like that. Not very reliable. For
example, it never even mentioned Cunego outside of a mountain stage in the
    Giro this year.

BTW, the sprints will be for Petacchi's wheel, but you don't need a crystal
    ball for that!

Yep, I think Hamilton will spoil the party for Lance.

    Tyler Hamilton.

Taking fourth last year after breaking his collarbone certainly makes
it sound possible. His long escape for a solo win, even though the
pack tried to close it down, shows he's got the motor.

Ullrich is probably the most naturally gifted rider, and can never be
    counted out.

It all comes down to who wants it the most.

Quite. What a fully fit Hamilton can do is anyone's guess. I've got money
on him to win, and a small each way on Heras.

I wouldn't mind seeing Lance win, but Tyler really deserves it IMO. He seems
like such a nice guy too.

Depends on how much Jan has been partying over the past year. I wouldn't be
disappointed to see him win either. It's not like anyone who wins is going
to end up wining by being lazy or anything. I'm just psyched for a good
contest. I want to see more 'cross style tour. That was exciting!

And who has the best team - plus a little luck doesn't hurt either.

My [censored] ass cable provider, Charter, doesn't carry OLN in my
neighborhood. They carry it in every other Charter area around here but
mine. [censored]. At least they finally started carrying Speedvision.

He clearly sounded as if he was acknowledging this this TdF wouldn't be his
during a press conference played on the Lance Chronicles (I only watched 5
    minutes, honest!)

It's definitely not going to be Millar....
Last year I was rooting for Tyler. This year, go Lance!

DirecTV baby, switched a year ago and never looked back. Higher quality then
digital cable and cheaper to boot.

You'll be welcome to come toss a few back and watch it with me and my
triathelete parents and brother who are coming out to visit during the
    event. It's a family tradition. You'd love it! 😉

Lance to lose, unless he has even more luck than last year.
