  1. Hi there,

I posted about 10 things here earlier this afternoon but none of them
seem to have shown up. Has anyone seen a rash of postings from me
today? I can't quite work out whether they didn't get there (weird...
other NGs are fine) or whether for some reason I just can't see them.

Please can someone let me know if you've seen them/not?

    Thanks 🙂

    Best wishes,

Oops... not to worry. It occurred to me to re-d/load the last 50
postings and there they were. I'm not sure what happened, but it seems
    they did get there.

    Apolog's for disturbing y'all 🙂

    Best wishes,

Only the first?? Well that's actually quite a relief!

Strange problem with posting last weekend. Posted about my Meon Valley walk
using server 'text.news.ntlworld.com' and it never showed. Took a look on
the other servers I use 'news.virgin.net' and news.tesco.net' ..... and
there it was! Not understanding how news servers work, but I am sure there
    'may be' a logical explanation.

I know nowt about the secret machinations of e mail, being a slave to OE,
but I've had similar instances with both ntlworld and before that,
Freeserve. Every now and then I'd wonder where my post went to......then
check my own sent mail to see if I'd actually sent it! It would always show
    up on Google.

The original post is not showing on news.individual.net.

Two problems, the propagation of posts on usenet is cr*p, you were probably
    using a cr*p newserver.

Why not change to news.individual.net, which is IMO the best newsserver of
the bunch. Worth every penny of the 10 Euros per year it costs. Mind you
it is a bit picky about what it will let you do. Read the conditions and
    FAQ first.

Cheers. Will take a look. Don't mind paying a bob-or-two if the service is
    good.
