  1. Howdy, Carm!

Good to hear from you. How's school? I figured you were busy with that.

    Happy Holidays.

  2. Right back at you Carmen. I'm so glad that Sarge is continuing to do
well. Post when you can, we miss you.

Hello to all the old timers and to the newbies who're thinking "Who is
    *she*?" greetings as well.

I don't poke my nose in here these days. Busy elsewhere
(alt.true-crime on usenet) and got to the point of needing a break from
ASDLC. Still miss the people though.

Things continue to truck along just fine weightwise. For the newbies:
started LC in January of '99, high weight was 284, lost to a low of 138
at one point at 5'7.5" tall. Decided hovering around 145 to 150 was
better and am currently at 144. Diabetes firmly under control without
meds, using LC and LOTS OF EXERCISE. (The last part is important.) To
date no body parts have fallen off, nor have I (to the best of my
knowledge) dropped dead of organ failure.

Sarge is hale and hearty and still on active duty with clean checkups,
Wigglekid continues to do well and I'm fine too.

Here's hoping all of you have a very Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah,
Happy Festivus, Merry Yule or just an enjoyable holiday season.

    Take care,
    Carmen

Hi, Carmen. We all need a break once in
a while. Glad to hear Sarge is doing
good. How are your classes coming
along? I hope you and your family have
    a very nice Christmas, too.

Glad to hear all is well with you. I knew Sarge was going to bounce
    back full on!

The year has been full of many positive changes. Christmas is way
different this year. A cornish game hen! NO kidding lol. It's the
first time in years I have not made fudge, cookies and Chex party mix
to give and away and nibble on. I dont miss it even!

Its my first one at a relatively normal weight( for me that is) Yep!
Saw #199 the other day after a short stall. I'm coming up 11 months out
and I have lost 211 pounds. My excess skin on the bottom of my belly
has kept me in a size 18s pant ( I generally wear the Just My size
denim lycra legging in 18/20) but I am in size 16 shirts! What the
hell??? I'm still in shock over that one. I was 4X 30/32's. I can wear
Old Navy size Large!!!! I had never even bothered to go into that
    store!

I will be having my lower body lift and plastics this coming fall.

Keep in touch and drop me a line soon!

scratches, and dents all over it. $1200 worth of damage. Have to
replain the whole half of the truck.Little People woke up with chicken
pox Monday morning but ya know what??
    Life is Good Anyway 🙂

So glad you dropped in to say "hi"

I am coming back down to Nashville this coming year to visit my friend
again as she isnt doing too well. We WILL get together this time
    OK??????

  6. Peter, I dont think I will have the surgery until Nov or Dec since
those are the 2 months Larry can take off. You'll be here before then
so you'll get to see me in my final days of saggin belly skin LOL!!! We
need to keep in touch. We are a mere few months from meeting each
other. I truly look forward to it. I need to know your plans and dates
too so we can do something fun. My world has opened up so big it
swallows me up at times. Im overwhelmed and put on tilt often as I
can't decide what to do as everything is so much funu for me now. The
days are too short and nothing is impossible to do now! Love my new
    life.
Check out my yahoo album. My friend gave me a pic from last summer of
me sitting on a picnic table. It was such a horrid pic she kept it from
me knowing full well I would cry when I saw it. It is one of only 2
"before" I am posting now. I do need a good "now" one too. Its
    coming!!!!!!

Did you get the long personal letter I sent you last week? If not email
me privately as I have something to tell you.
