I have the "Hell Freezes Over" DVD and saw them tour it in Philly in 2003.

They always were excellent.

I can't turn the home stereo volume past 10, dammit! 😉

I remember when they said they'd tour again "when Hell freezes over" - some
conflict between Glenn Frye and Joe Walsh. Next thing you know, there's the
Hell Freezes Over tour <G> Still makes me laugh. Money wins (even though
they all had successful solo careers).

I'll toss my opinion out there, right or wrong but Joe Walsh brought "life
in the fast lane" and "Hotel California" into their repertoire, taking them
to successes further than Don and Glenn could've achieved on their own.

I didn't realize until the DH pointed it out after an Eagles concert
we went to a couple of years ago at The Pond, but "Hotel California"
was a Don Henley rant against the recording industry (even though all
3 shared writing credit). I just thought it was a cool song.
