One thing about living up here in skiing and biking paradise is the weather can be a little on
the harsh side from time to time. Like today.

I got up this morning to a lot of frost on the windows and looked out at the thermometer. It was
reading -38 F It's been sunny and nice looking all day, until you hit the air. The high temp has
come and gone. It was -1. We never broke zero and now it's starting to drop again (currently at
    -2). Ouch.

Still not a cloud in the sky...

Supposed to get down to 25 tonight here. That's considered cold, in this part of the world.

    We hit that in September.

Matt (it's warming up - high was 4 today and it's 2 now)

It's -13C here right now, I don't know what that is in cave man units. I don't start getting worried
until it hits -25C. That combined with t the wind from going 30km/hr on the bike and a guy could
    lose his nose.

9°F and -13°F repectively. Don't know what the wind chill effect is.

Then you walk out, take a breath, and your snot freezes inside your nose. Uh Oh!

Reminds me of Moscow in the winter. Throw a glass of water out the kitchen window, and it's ice
    when it hits the ground.

    Steve

Are you talking Idaho or former Soviet Union? We have a Moscow (pr Mos-coe) across from the SE
    corner of WA State.

paladin winter's fairly rough there, too.
