  1. Does anyone know what this diet is all about? Site says it is based on a
combination of foods; does not say low carb or low fat. Is it another Weight
    Watchers?

    TIA,

The version the advertise around here appears to be some kind of LC plan.

  3. My daughter used LA weight loss, she lost a lot of weight, but it was
expensive. maybe a motivator??? Low carb, low everything though the plan
seemed to change frequently- I never got a print out of the plans.

IMO I think if you stick to most of these "diet" plans, you will lose. I'd
hate to lose a lot of money too, though. If you need a support group, we
are here and has anyone ever been to a TOPS meeting? Those are almost free-
and you can pick your own weight loss plan and have weekly weigh-ins if
    that's what your looking for.

  4. I've been looking for a support group that accepts LC for 15 months. I had
never heard of TOPS. The website says the have a meeting 2 hours from now,
    about 3 miles away.

  6. Hopefully it is a good gang going to the meetings- At least it is a flesh
and blood support group that will accept you as you are. I belonged to a
Tops group when we lived overseas. Besides for losing weight, I found a few
friends. We sang silly songs- took measurements and had a prize for the
loser of the week. You had to bring a ok from your doctor, but that isn't
anything new- I don't think they would be against low carb plans. You could
end up being some ones coach.
