Quoted message said:Hi folks!
Barbara (sf) wrote and told me that she posted something about me on
r.f.c., but none of the thread has appeared on my newserver.
Strange...
I'm not sure exactly what she posted, but I'll try to recap...
She said you have been sick and haven't told anyone you little turd. AND
you haven't returned any of my emails. Hell, I haven't heard from you
since you moved. Perhaps you don't want to talk to me anymore?

Last Monday David had surgery for a total knee replace.
Cheesus... Poor David. Gaw... I'll bet that is painful. Give him a hug
for me.

My situation was rather a surprise to me!
Mmmmm... Hmmm... I know the feeling.
Quoted message said:I guess I'm quite lucky that I didn't have a heart attack or stroke.
Yep. I've had 2 heart attacks and a TIA. Interesting thing is I didn't
realize I was having them. I just felt "funny". The TIA was different.
I felt "funny" again but Steven took me to the hospital. I was in the
hospital for 3 days. I chalked it up to being at Margaret's the month
before 😉
Quoted message said:After they implanted two stents, though, full circulation was restored.
Mine are so blocked stents are not possible.

More recently I did a classic no-no, lifting a heavy box while bending
over and turning at the same time. I tore 3 ligaments in my lower
back and compressed 2 disks. David and I are quite a sight! Two old
farts on two walkers! <G> Supposedly, my injury should heal on its
onw in a month or so, but it sure hurts like hell.
Mmmm hmmmm. I do [censored] I'm not supposed to all the time. Jumping my horse
is a big no-no and I do it almost daily. Christy [censored] at me every
time I talk to her about the jumping. I took a bad fall last spring and
tried to hide it from everyone. That didn't last long. Steven ferreted
out why I could barely walk and really let me have it. Pffffftttt... I
only got one life, I'll live it my way. He can be such a crab.

As to my absence... Since we moved in late December, I haven't really
participated in any newsgroups. Can't seem to quite get back into it.
I guess there's just more to do at home, and certainly more to do at
work, and then there were the physical issues.
I checked into the r.f.c. website not long ago and was shocked at the
three most recent dear folks we lost. I read the detail on all but
Ken Davey, but could find nothing about him. Did his cancer return?
He was such a sincere and caring guy. All were a great loss.
I think about so many of you very often...
Warm regards,
So does this mean you're back? Email me you little [censored] and we can whine
about our physical problems and exchange pain medications via fax 😉
Seriously, you and David take care of yourselves. Don't be such a
stranger. I'm really glad to see your post.
