OT: Job interview tomorrow

I would wear a pr of slacks and a nice top. Don't go too dressy, but I
would not wear jeans, either.

I'd think the most important thing there is look neat & orgaized,
you're not going Wall St, and I'd assume they'd resent someone putting
on airs. Can I get a discount on a 12" compound miter ?

It never hurts to dress up for a job interview IMHO. ;-)
Just wear practical shoes.....

discount, then, um, no. Because that discount would be for _employees_

Yup. Just came back, didn't get the job, btw. When I filled out my
application, I put down that I wanted a sales job, and my available
hours are weekday mornings. Turns out the manager was looking for a
cashier to work weekday afternoons. So I don't even know why he called
me down there for an interview.

I don't know how the school thing is going to work out. At first I
thought I'd try for spring semester, but from the little info I've been
able to gather, it seems I'd have to start in the fall. Too late to
start this fall. The college I was going to apply to is very
unresponsive. They don't answer emails or phone calls, not even to tell
me which of several buildings in several locations throughout the city
I'd need to go to in order to find out how to apply. No wonder there's
a teacher shortage here, if you can't even find out who you need to talk
to in order to find out how to apply to the College of Education at the
biggest university in Georgia. Maybe that's the first test, huh? To
see how much [censored] you're willing to go through, to make sure you really
_want_ to be a teacher, huh?
