  1. Oh wait, I have none!

Except my parents (in Tampa) who live 5 feet above sea level, might not have
as much fun. Fortunately, it should pass north of them.

And they might get the backwash storm surge into the bay, on top of all the
    rain...🙁

  3. I don't worry about anyone who lives in a war zone with
    mother nature.

  5. You want to stay hot all the time, then jump into a
fire. You want to live in a hot trouble zone then suffer. You want
to be brave then you have to be stupid. Bad storms have be hitting
the area since the explorer and be- fore.

    Everywhere has stupid weather.

    SouthEast - hurricanes
    NorthEast - blizzards
    Midwest - tornados/floods
    West - earthquakes/mudslides/wildfires

    That leaves....where, exactly?

    Phoenix......
Funny, haven't seen an earthquake or a mudslide in Phoenix in 44 years and
the wild fires are typically not in the city........since there's nothing
but stinking cacti around here. Yeah it gets a little warm but that's what
    ac is for.....

Yeah, and we can keep hoping that California will sink into the ocean so's
we can have beachfront property too. Heck, we could even blame it on El
    Nino.

    Volcanoes.
The Inland NW is pretty stable, but we do get dust storms, and ice storms.

Yeah, being in Alaska I'm too familiar with all three, but that said
it's still not too shabby if you can deal with the winters. 🙂

I have to say though, parts of southwest Canada are pretty appealing
    too.

How 'bout monsoon rains and duststorms? Least that's what I remember from
my visit in August a few years back.
