June! Where ya been, girl? I saw your name in the header and just
broke into a grin. You back to stay a spell?

Heya Squeaks! I'd like to sit and chat for a bit - I've got a few
weeks between jobs right now, and I wanted to drop in to RFC, see
    what's cookin'!

I moved from Boston to Minnesota last week. Tonight, I went to the
local grocery store specifically to find Ma Schaller's jam - lo and
behold, I came home with a jar of cherry preserves w/her picture on the
label. Haven't tried it yet, but I know what I'm having for breakfast
    tomorrow!

I sent my new address to you privately - ping me again if you don't get
it. (I should probably correct my Google account, but it's such a
hassle, and this way, I don't get a lot of spam.)

    Nancy.

So, you're moving from Cold as the Marianas Trench to Cold as the
Marianas Trench? You have something against thawing out on other than
    a seasonal basis?

It's probably in her contract to have her picture on the label. Ya
take on look at that sweet faced, gray haired lady and immediately
think of comfort food. Little does the general populace know that
beneath that madonna-esque persona lurks a barracuda when barracuda is
called upon! I sure as heck wouldn't cross her - nuh-uh!

Heh. A former coworker pointed out to me that it was ironic that
someone named after a summer month would choose to spend her time in a
part of the country that only warmed up for such a brief time. I like
winter. Never was much for the great outdoors (don't like bugs. Or
    sunburn.).

Barracuda? BarraCUDA? Jeez, I've been called a lot of things, but
barracuda's never been one of them. Haven't you figured out that I'm
mostly show and no go? And that picture? It was taken in January of
1996, I think. Black and white. I look better now than then - and new
pictures (color) for the labels were taken two or three years ago, but
they're not on the labels yet -- I wonder if they ever will be. Dang.
My hair is much more silver now than then. :-) They put our pictures
on the label to prove that we're "real people." Am I real? I have to
look on a jam label to find out.

Heh. I'm fairly harmless. BTW, when St. Froghop's races are,

    Hey, hey, hey. . . . Watchyerself, Young'un.

That's what Marcel calls me. LOL... The young kid. I can't wait to see him
again. I'm gonna haul him around in a limo. I had much fun with him.

Michael <- eating Gardettos while the beans cook

That's true. The kid who stayed with me is how he refers to you, when
he wants to know how you are doing. Michael means nothing, because
    we know so many.
