If you think that death by Alheimer's Disease is
unremarkable for the sufferer and the family, then you are
very much mistaken. I never liked Nancy, but my hat's off to
her as far as her devotion her husband in his last years is
concerned. I've seen hundreds of families of dementia
patients over the years and I understand their sorrow,
resentment and frustration.

Also, please remember that one of his "loser" kids has
already succumbed to cancer (Maureen, his daughter by
Jane Wyman).

So now tell me, where is the comedy?

I would say the same thing about death by AIDS. Reagan
didn't even acknowledge the existence of AIDS for years and
resisted any funding for research. He also brought the
religious right into political power. They are the very
people who oppose things like stem cell research which is
necessary to prevent the kinds of disease and suffering that
millions of people and their families face each year. He
deepened the divide over abortion. I don't wish the Reagan's
any unnecessary hardships, but I also don't think Reagan is
deserving of adoration. When it came to his political
career, he was very calculating and benefited from a
malignant neglect that exacted untold suffering on others.
Let's not forget the "Trickle Down" economic policies that
transferred wealth to the upper class. Reagan's neo-con
polices emptied mental health facilities and swelled the
ranks of the homeless. Ketchup became a vegetable in school
cafeterias. His administration operated covert, illegal arms
deals in a "arms for hostages" scheme. Let's not forget that
the right-wing, attack dogs of talk radio like Rush Limbaugh
and Sean Hannity are all devoted followers of Ronald Reagan.
I believe that if the man had any redeeming qualities, he
would have spoken-up against the likes of Limbaugh.

This man in his haze of Hollywood could never defend
himself. Just like the current resident of the office he
wanted to get all for himself. This was the great moral man,
family man etc., etc., who married his three months preggie
wife Nancy and forgot to divorce Jayne for 4 months. He was
inaugurated both time by Astrological predictions. He refuse
money for AIDS research. Nancy wore the best gowns she could
rip off from designers and was a social climber of the worse
sort. They were and are true rubbish and trailer trash. This
is one death that is 90 yeas too late. If you will remember
he turned all those in need of mental health care out on the
streets and we now find them under freeways etc. He created
the biggest rush on interest rates ever and nearly

Nancy a great care taker? 90% of the time you could find her
out and about in LaQuinta on most anyday. She avoided him
like the plague in his last days...which started about 50
years ago. My fondest memories are of his sleeping when he
was attending very important world meetings. Even then he
