I mentioned this in the thread about Laura Brannigan and a few days ago on alt.cats. I wasn't sure whether or not to make an OT request, but the LB thing really got me thinking. Some of you may already know that a friend of mine, about the same age as LB, had an aneurysm in June. She is still alive and is in a physical rehab center. She has a long way to go, however, and we don't know if she will make a complete recovery. I was hoping that people could send her good energy and prayers. She is a wonderful person, totally generous and selfless and kind. Thank you so much to all the people who have already responded with their good wishes and thanks in advance to everyone else who decides to send that good energy. I appreciate it.

I am sorry to hear about your friend. The same thing happened to a co-worker of mine (32 and had just given birth to her second baby). Unfortunately she didn't make it, but your friend is in my thoughts. Wishing her a speedy recovery.

I'm very sorry to hear that, Nimue. I'll think of her. I noticed that about Laura Brannigan, too. She was the same age as me and I just got done with a 3 day stay in the hospital. Sure makes you think. I came down with Bells Palsy a couple weeks ago and I'm pretty sure the medication they gave me for that caused my hospital stay. I ended up in the ER having convultions and going in to v-fib for two days while they monitored me in ICU. Now i'm on some new drugs for the heart and am ready to just say no. Even with Bells Palsy, I felt better before I saw the dr. That supposedly goes away by itself. 🙂
