I've read everything everyone has said about me..the good and the bad.
You know, I *am* honestly sorry for whomever I've hurt in here (or in any
other newsgroup) with anything horrible I have said to anyone.
With that said, I wish everyone a wonderful Christmas and much happiness in
the New Year and in life.
I'm unsubscribing now,
Jaime

JaimeYou know, Jaime, it's all been just words. Don't take it too seriously -
it's not real life here. If you think it helps you to be here, then be here.
If not, don't.That said, a very Merry Christmas to you and your children, nad wishing you
a great New Year. And thank you for your wishes!HG

JaimeHuh. Yeah, you've said some mean things sometimes, but so have a lot of
people in here, and I don't think that's what most of the critiques
directed at you are actually about. I don't think anyone here has
actually been hurt by you. It's more that people get fatigued with
hearing that you're on track to make positive changes in your life, and
then it all falls apart. Over and over. And, it seems you most often
post about either being with a new guy or losing a guy, as if that's the
most important thing in your life. Maybe as an overweight woman you
feel you have to prove your attractiveness by letting us all know when
you have a boyfriend, and then when the relationship falls apart you
have to let us know it was all _his_ fault so we don't think any less of
you. Abusive, manipulative [censored] are attracted to weak, insecure
women, Jaime. But you get so wrapped up in your image that you don't
want anyone to see that you're weak, so you won't even admit it to
yourself. Weak and insecure are not insults, they're not moral
judgments, they're simply temporary states of mind which can be remedied
in many different ways. Getting a new boyfriend, even a good one, is not
one of the ways. It derails your focus onto someone else, when it needs
to be on yourself. Think of all the things your perfect man would say
to you to help support you, all the things he would say to make you feel
valued and beautiful and important, and start saying them to yourself,
and start believing them. -

Yep just about as long as we would miss you were you to disappear.
That was pretty mean,
You might pray that nobody takes you up on your attitude that someone
deserves to be smacked around because of the irritation they caused you,
listening to you being a [censored] is just as trying to some of us on this
newsgroup as listening to someone talk about their problems seems to be to
you.-------------NICE!!Quoted message said:

struggle against. I think I'm winning the battle, but in the rather
drastic way of not dating at all, going on three years now. Having a
boyfriend is a bit like eating pasta: you can't imagine your life
without it, but the longer you go without it the more you wonder why you
ever liked it so much. I think I'd like to date again, one day, but
every time I seriously think about the amount of effort entailed all
these other things I need to do and would rather be doing pop into my
head. To the outside world my life may seem rather sad and lonely,
since it consists of basically either working, or hanging out at home.
But, I'm friends with my coworkers at both of my jobs, so essentially I
get paid to hang out with people I'd chose to hang out with for free
anyway. And, I work with kids at one job, and customers at another, so
"alone time" is really nice. -

It's amazing how much more time I have and more money!!! No more running to
the mall to buy a new outfit, of course you then need the matching shoes and
purse. I figured by summer I'll be ready to date again. It's a long enough
time period that I may have forgotten why I stopped to begin with.
