OT: Flowers/Fruit Basket delivery in UK?

I'm not in London, but the canonical european flower delivery service is
www.fleurop.com/. Basically it's the florist's organisations banding
together, you order at your local florist (or via the website), and their
local florist will send it out. If you've got specific wishes, which might
be hard to fill, you might want to offer them some alternatives as well,
but 'nice big bouquet, with card saying [blah]' will generally do
reasonably well.

Wells is indeed west of London, but then so is most of the UK
I guess the other side of England doesn't seem so far when you're from

Kind of like Hawaii (or, at least Oahu): Everything's drivable within a day.

Was hitch-hiking back to Hickam AFB once and this local guy picked me up.

He asked "Have you ever been to San Francisco".

I replied, "No, I'm from Philadelphia.".

He thought about it for a minute and then said "What? you only hang around your
own neighborhood?".

Moot anyhow - found out the guy's in a Bristol hospital...
