Click on the download button and follow the instructions.

What do you mean 'nothing happens'? It's not automatic, you have to click on the 'Download now'
button. Save the .exe file to disk and then run the file.

If you are doing that, explain exactly where in the installation it's failing.

i go on to the macromedia site, click install now, then there is no movie installed which it says it
should, or there is no security box loaded up prompting me to install it, i have tried this about 20
times leaving it for more than the one of two mins it says it needs, and nothing is happening.

i dont know if that helps bit of a newbie with comps n the like

It's not an install now button, it's a download now button. It will download the program, but you
have to run it.

Ok, you've downloaded the program. Next, you have to go to the folder where you downloaded the
program to. If you can't remember, go to Start -> Search and type in 'flashplayer' (without the
quotes). This will find the program 'flashplayer7installer.exe.

Double-click to open the program. Select English, and then choose the browsers (eg, Internet
Explorer) that you want it to be installed for. Click 'Finish'. It will close your browser and then
re-open it at a Macromedia page. Flash is installed.

Correct. The text beneath says to click 'install now' this will download and also install.

Having done that you should see the movie playing in the box.

If at first you dont succeed, give up.
