    Going to Disneyland, too?

I just ran away from home
Now I'm going to Dizz Knee Land
I just crashed my car again
Now I'm going to Dizz Knee Land
I just robbed a grocery store
I'm going to Dizz Knee Land
I just flipped off President George
I'm going to Dizz Knee Land
I'm going to Dizz Knee Land

I just tossed a fifth of gin (cue shot glass)
Now I'm going to Dizz Knee Land
    I just got cuffed again
I'm going to Dizz Knee Land, yeah
Shot my gun into the night
I'm going to Dizz Knee Land, oh
I just saw a good man die
I'm going to Dizz Knee Land, come on

I'm going to Dizz Knee Land (Hey... What?)

    (solo)

Kicked my ass out of school
Rolled me out into the streets
    Hitched a ride on a monkey's back
    Headed west into the black

I'm going to Dizz Knee Land
I'm going to Dizz Knee Land, yeah, yeah
I'm going to Dizz Knee Land, oooh
I'm going to Dizz Knee Land, yeah, yeah, yeah

    (kick-ass solo)

I saw them on that tour at Red Rocks. They actually played a great show,
and the album (El Subliminoso) is good IMO. Better than just that song,
    that's for sure.

Man, Red Rocks always seems to get good shows. Aside from the strong
prospect of working in CA (I fly out this week), I also have a very
strong prospect in Denver, CO on the border with Aurora. It doesn't pay
as much as the SF gig, but then again it's about $50,000 less a year to
live (for my family) in Denver and some of the homes I saw (I can't
believe you can get a 6000 sq ft home on .5 acre for less than $500,000)
were an easy 9 mile side road bike commute. Interesting dilemma. Two
good (well, very good) biking destinations.

Maybe I should check the Red Rocks schedule and then make a decision. 🙂

WTF are you gonna do with 6000 sq ft? Now if it were garage/shop space,
    that's different. :-)
I was looking for homes in Boulder Saturday. 1200 sq ft upstairs, same
size finished basement, 1 car garage, on 7000 sq ft lot, $440,000.
Yikes! We're moving back to the Denver metro area this summer.
Probably Peoples Republic of Boulder, despite the real estate costs
    (very good schools).
Move to Denver and I'll ride with you at White Ranch.

What's wrong with a little space? I would not get something that big,
that's just ridiculous. I couldn't afford to heat it.

I'm keeping my options open. Wife likes Denver better, don't know why
since it's still far away from NJ, she doesn't ride, doesn't ski, and
    hates the Broncos.

The big problem with the Denver job is it basically a lateral move for
an extra 10k than I am making now. It just doesn't seem worth it and
all the problems I had to deal with in the current job I have now, will
start over there. Same CRM, same network, same non-communicating
department heads, same size, same issues. Do I really want to go
    through all of that again?

No kidding, I'm more than happy with 1/3 of that. Or does Mitch have
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more kids than I think he does?

I could set up a nice trials course in 6000 sq ft.

Hmm, hard to say. My wife will be working 50% of the hours she's
working here, which is to say about 55 hrs/wk, pretty rough for her
right now, for about 30% more, the schools and road riding are better in
Boulder (Salida schools are in a serious slide).
There is no out-the-door mountain biking in Boulder and I just got a 15"
dob about a month ago. There are some seriously dark skies around here.
Probably for the better, all things considered.
