More to the point, why is a Canadian complaining about US murder
rates, or vice versa (and so on for all the laws. No one forces
anyone to cross the border if they don't like what's on the other side).
Border security on the other hand is a joint issue; in practice an
arrangement that both sides can live with is in everyone's best
interest.

More to the point, why is a Canadian complaining about US murder
rates, or vice versa (and so on for all the laws. No one forces
anyone to cross the border if they don't like what's on the other side).
