  1. Well, I've found that when I block a sender their name is saved in a list in
Outlook. Which really makes it worse, because I can look their email address
up every couple of months and stick it into Google thinking, "I wonder what
that jackass is saying now." So, are they blocked or just *highlighted*?

    :-P

Food: Now that the energy bill is going to be higher I'm trying to think of
some good holiday surprises which don't require a lot of baking. Not easy.
Maybe I should eat salads and sandwiches regularly until the holidays and
use all the amps for cookies?

So don't look. I don't pay attention to my blocked senders list and I
delete any email addresses I don't care to save.

    Purely up to you.

Why not simply block yourself... type in "SPINELESS DUMB [censored]".

Two thoughts here: First, when you bake in the winter, the energy isn't
wasted. The more you bake, the less the furnace comes on. Second, when
you bake cookies and such, you really need to preheat the oven, which
burns up a lot of energy. Why not bake dinner first and then the oven
is already preheated for the cookies?

It's been ages since I used Outlook and I really miss it 🙁 I have
Outlook for mac but it doesn't want to hot sync to my clie so I'm forced
to use palm desktop. I like Mozilla for ng reading. Killfiles are just
that. You never see the bloke again! Gotta love it.

I tried rum balls last year - they were a disaster 🙁 but the birds
seemed to enjoy them 😉 DH thought the last thing we needed was
drunken birds flitting around the house. What about a no-bake
cheesecake? Personally I don't worry about the cost of cooking but I do
take advantage of either grill or oven. I seldom ever have just one
    dish cooking in either.

Or vice versa. A lot of baked goods should be served cool or perhaps warm. I do
the baking first and the the oven is already hot for dinner. I tend not to use
the oven much in the summer because it heats up the house, but when it starts to
get cool in the fall I figure that rather than turn on the furnace I can just do
dinner in the oven and kill two birds with one stone.

  7. It was kinda supposed to be funny, but oh well :-)
