9 Things I Hate About Everyone

    1. People who point at their wrist while asking for the time.... I know
where my watch is pal, where the hell is yours? Do I point at my crotch
    when
I ask where the toilet is?

    2. People who are willing to get off their butt to search the entire
    room
for the tv remote because they refuse to walk to the tv and change the
    channel manually.

    3. When people say "Oh you just want to have your cake and eat it too".
    Damn
right! What good is a cake if you can't eat it?

    4. When people say "it's always the last place you look". Of course it
    is.
Why the hell would you keep looking after you've found it? Do people do
this? Who and where are they?

    5. When people say while watching a film "did you see that?". No Loser,
    I
paid $12 to come to the cinema and stare at the damned floor.

    6. People who ask "Can I ask you a question?".... Didn't really give me
    a
    choice there, did ya sunshine?

    7. When something is 'new and improved!'. Which is it? If it's new, then
there has never been anything before it. If it's an improvement, then
    there
must have been something before it.

    8. When people say "life is short". What the hey?? Life is the longest
    damn
thing anyone ever does!! What can you do that's longer?

    9. When you are waiting for the bus and someone asks "Has the bus come
yet?". If the bus came would I be standing here?

  2. Too funny I believe it is a George Carlin bit..

I went into a Wal-Mart the other day and was buying a computer desk. I
asked the young man if he would take it up front so I could buy it. He then
looked at me and asked me if I wanted to put it on layaway or would I be
paying tonight. I had PMS (forgive me) and I looked at him and said "If I
were putting it on layaway I wouldn't have asked you to take it to the front
so I could buy it, now would I?" OK - maybe I shouldn't shop when I have
PMS. I had also been to a funeral earlier in the day and drove 1 1/2 hours
each way to take my daughter back to college after the funeral. And this
wasn't George Carlin material - my own personal stupid question person.

I did mark it OT, so you have no one to blame but yourself for reading
    it.

  9. I hate French people and their relatives.

Do you really hate them, or are you simply exaggerating? Perhaps you
    chose an inappropriate verb?

Are you sure that you don't simply find them less than amusing, or
    possibly simply not entertaining?

If you can honestly say that you "hate" someone for posting something
that you do not find as humorous as they do, then you must really find
it difficult to find friends or even people that you can regard as
peers. Life must be pretty miserable for you.

Are you one of those people who, when listening to someone recounting a
joke that you have already heard, tells the punch line and declares it
unfunny simply because it didn't amuse you to hear it again? Are you an
    intolerant person?

You do manage present an online image of a rather sad, angry, and bitter
person. Is that really who you are?

Luna's post, while perhaps a little shop-worn for some of the more jaded
sophisticates, (not sure what a jaded sophisticate would be doing
reading a diet group on a weekend?) is still an amusing look at a number
of illogical foibles common among the general population.

Also, isn't it weird how we drive on a parkway and park in a driveway?
If you send something by ship it's cargo, but if you send it by car it's
a shipment. Man, I crack me up.

Why are there interstate highways in Hawaii? Why is called a permanent if
you have to get it redone?

Is it really better to post unfunny, bitter, and aggressive [censored] you
    just made up?

If you live in an urban part of the country, some bus stops intersect with
    other bus routes. 😉

    :-)

George Carlin and there's one other guy... deadpan delivery, big
hair. Steven Wright, maybe? They both always have me howling.

Steven Wright's my favorite. "Last night someone broke into my house
and replaced everything I own with exact duplicates."

  17. It's not a matter of smarts, it's a matter of taste. The two are not
related. Those who think they are arbiters of taste are way too focused on
    their own navels.
