I was having a rest after lunch on Exmoor, when I noticed that the buckle
on the chest strap of the Atmos looked a bit unusual. On closer
examination, I see it incorporates a whistle that I hadn't spotted before!
It's not mentioned in the user manual either.
It's not that loud, although I didn't blow it too hard, as although I
*thought* I was in the middle of nowhere, I could picture people appearing
from all directions asking what the problem was <g>

The KIMMlite sacks have one of those too. I'd wondered at first why it
was a slightly odd shape and bright orange, but didn't really twig until
last week.
And to think, I bought that sack for the LAMM and carried around another
whistle all through the event. I wasted several whole grammes! Bah...

somewhere quiet to have a really good blast!

That's nothing! Have you seen how the buckles at the top of the arm
straps turn inside out to convert to little wheels, for when you want
to use it like a little granny trolley? I couldn't believe it when I
first tried! Incredible :-)

Wow! Just looked at the chest strap on my Osprey Ceres 50.......and
there's a whistle!
I shall blow it next time I am out, and listen for the reply from Osprey
owners across the hills.

I blew mine (quietly and indoors) the other night and assumed it wasn't that
good. But at the weekend I gave it a good blast. By gum is it loud :-)
