  1. I'm thinking that it'd all be compatible but I'd sure like to hear from someone who say's it's all ok. Would you expect any problems with this? mixing sizes that is.

  3. That's an interesting way of wording it but I get the point. You've tried it? Is 31.7 deda proprietary?

    0.1 mm is about 0.004 of an inch. About the diameter of a human hair. Assuming you are using a two piece, faceplate clamp style stem it should be no problem.

    It's quite likely that the manufacturing tolerances on the stem and handlebar would allow for at least plus or minus 0.1 mm! Absolutely without question it'll work. It's a bike not a watch! 😄

    It would be no problem even with a non 2 piece.
