But it's easier to find the map you're looking for on the IGN website first,

Mapsworld wide has been my source for the last couple of trips unless I am
in Bristol then again Stanfords become a viable option

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestions, I did find another web site, elstead.co.uk
which was cheaper, so I've ordered some of the Blue series.

Now I don't suppose anyone knows any good walks around Combourg/ Dol
De Bretagne area?
( I guess this is a long shot !)

The coast between St Brieuc and Lannion. Best bits probably in the middle
of the north-facing, eg. Port Blanc area. I found a lot of good seafood
resturants to eat in along the coast.

Also, Mont St Michel was worth the trip, even with the numbers of visitors.
And I usually loathe places with lots of tourists.

No need to go so far (though I agree the area you point is perhaps the
best along the whole Côtes-d'Armor coast !). The sector between St-Malo
and pointe du Groin is also outstanding.

I had approached it walking more or lest in straight line from east, and
it was really a great experience (walking in fog for one or two
kilometers, and suddenly seeing the Mont rise behind the sheep).

Is it a problem ordering off the net from France? I agree the ign site
is difficult, but I have ordered from Amazon France (www.amazon.fr)
for slightly cheaper maps and in a format I'm used to from using UK
site. They deliver pretty quick too (less than a week from memory)
