The cycling one has got 14 "sigs" now .... except that they are not; the
majority are people (probably opponents) having a rant, instead of setting
up their own, opposing, petition.

When you see that the overall concept is set up by 10 Downing Street, it
does not behove us to abuse at least one innovative line of access to the
PTB.... after all, they *might* take notice of the general feeling of the
Great British Public.

I do doubt very much if any of the fake signatories are from u.r.c......

signing., although people would see paying for another driving test as

I'll sign up to that one. I was a bit puzzled by "e.g. anyone who
passed their test before 1959 did so without motorway driving." though.
Everyone passes their test without motorway driving, not just those
who passed before 1959. Personally, I would be in favour of a two-part
test, with the second part including motorway driving.
