  1. The "crack addict" bike got stripped today - its amazing how little is actually on a bike when its
    in a little box.

    pbase.com17758588 pbase.com17758589

And the naked black beauty - with transfered headset, stem, and bars, too many spacers right now
(I'm experimenting with position for the first few weeks, then going back and recutting the steerer
tube. Thats why it's got 3 carbon spacers and one aluminum one, and also why it looks so damn high
    right now).

    pbase.com17758826 pbase.com17758835

The wheels are just there to keep it from scraping on the ground - I'm having the mech at my shop
build some up for me next week (or whenever the parts get in) for a sixer. Ok, money for a sixer,
since I look too young and don't have a fake.

And the box of parts to go on the bike: right now, just the disc brakes and the derailleurs.
The crankset, cassette, shifters, and chain should be coming soon, and I needed to order a new
    BB to fit.

    pbase.com17758592

    Can't wait!

I predict that you will be fiendishly happy with this bike. 4months into mine and I'm still happy

Any reason you switched from the marzocchi? If I end up having lots of problems I might, but I gotta
be true to my sponsors 😉 I might end up going non-tubeless, just because Mavic doesn't distribute
through QBP or J&B, oddly enough. I think you have to order direct. If they're more than 10 more a
rim at cost, plus more shipping, I'll probably end up with Velocity VXCs. IRC Serac XC 2.1s on there
either way, and then hopefully we'll have a tire sponsor by the winter, and I'll have a stable of
    tires to chose from.

My goodness my typing was off in that last post, wasn't it. That'll teach me to type one handed
whilst playing tg of war with the puppy.

I went to the Fox because a friend that works at a shop let me use his employee purchase to buy the
    TALAS. I couldn't resist.

    Must say it looks nice.

Commander, ever think about building it up as a SS? Of course you'd have to get rid of the front and
    rear suspension. ;-)

Peace, Bill The mind serves properly as a window glass rather than as a reflector, that is, the mind
should give an immediate view instead of an interpretation of the world.

Hopefully I'll have more parts very soon (tomorrow would be nice! not that I have a BB that fits - I
might just suck that one up and buy it at the other bike shop instead of saving $10 - then I could
throw the V's on there and actually ride it a bit before my disc wheels are built up! Ok, I wouldnt'
be able to sit, what with no seatpost and all, but still!

It still makes me chuckle that the US'll let anyone own an automatic weapon from the age of 10, yet
they're super-strict on anyone under the age of 21 having a beer.

God, what do you do at uni? You must have to work or something...

And when you do, you will not need that Blur frame anymore. I prefer UPS or FedEx to USPS. :-)
