Yes. The challenge is getting *good* ones.

One way to get a 1"-steerer suspension fork is to buy an RST of
whatever model is available that you find acceptable, and then order
the 1" tube to fit it. Harris Cyclery, and for that matter any bike
shop that deals with Quality Bike Parts, can supply the tube on
special order. One caveat; while I haven't yet encountered an RST
that doesn't accept their standard steerer tubes, there may be some.

Forks of wildly varying quality show up on eBay as well. Some are at
the level of the OEM unit on a Roadmaster Mt Storm, though; yes, they
allow wheel motion, but there's a complete lack of adjustment, and
damping is negligible.

Marzocchi MX Comp is probably the best current 1" fork. It's portly at
4+ lbs, but works pretty well. I think it's an 85mm travel, but a kit
will lower it a bit for older bikes.
