I value your discussions, as I do others, but I have noticed a
deterioration as character assassinations are now becoming the norm. I've
always thought rbt as being a valuable resource for both newbies and
experts, and I think I learn something new from it everyday. Also I think
politics and religion should be kept out of this newsgroup, as there are
plenty of newsgroups out there for someone who wants to practice their
taliban like intolerances for non-believers. I know Jim, you are not guilty
of the politics and religion point, but I thought I just lump it all in
here.

This is my direct appeal to you Jim, could you please increase the size of
your font. Think of older people, or far-sighted people who have to reach
for their magnifying glasses to read your posts. Please, your posts are
important, people should read them, why have them not read them because they
can't.

Huh? You select the font and size in which posts are displayed in your
newsreader, because they're plain text. If this varies from poster to
poster, there's something strange going on at your end.

I don't know about that, or thought I did. Jim Beans text is the only one
that is small, all the rest are normal size. Why would that be?

KF works. At least RBT is far more civil than the vast majority of public
groups.

This is why; from your headers you are using Microsoft Outlook Express
and it appears that is renders UTF-8 in a different font than it renders
ASCII text. You should be able to change this in your preferences. My
newsreader has the same flaw.

Normally I'd agree, but lately the signal-to-noise ratio in RBT is going
down fast, and (irony of ironies) the signal-to-noise on R.B.racing has
gone up in a serious spike - lots of thoughtful, information-filled
posts. (Who'd have thunk it?) If this trend keeps up, soon all RBT
posts will be prefaced with "dumbass".

YES, it worked, thanks. I never thought it was on my side, because his
posts were the only ones that were small. Very strange, but now his text
comes full sized.
