Are you kidding, you really think you know this guy? I have respect for
people who at least admit to doping, even if it is after the fact.

I like Lance, respect the guy as a rider and as a champion of a great
cause, but the reaction people have to an ememy of a guy you don't
know, have never met, and to whom you are nothing at all, is
surprising. Maybe people just like the American angle, but please, it
is unbecoming to run and shove each other out of the way to ride
lance's tip.

IMO any classics win, and most semi classic wins are better than a
Vuelta stage, along with Most Giro and TDF stages. Now just how many
other riders have those and more that are currently racing?
The guy is a nobody in the pro peleton.

Anyone can carry the Olympic torch trough it s way to the Olympic site.
I did it in 1992 when the torch was crossing my town and people from
sports clubs or other organisation could apply to relay it for 200
meters.

Now, carrying it in the Olympic site/stadium, lighting the vasque, that

the period immediately following those dates.

To get to 10k people to carry the torch, they are going to have to dig
pretty deep into the Cat3 fields after exhausting all the soccer,
basketball, and volleyball teams in Italy.

ANYONE can be a torch bearer. There is a nomination process and
essentially is aimed at identifying someone who represents the Olympic
ideals. Whether or not you agree with Simeoni, I can see how someone
might nominate him for speaking out against doping in sport.

but their friends and neighbors cared about until they latched onto
somebody Famous. Monica opened her mouth and sucked in Billy's cigar,

than that they are both footnotes to sports or politics at best.
As long as he keeps whining, [censored], and crying he'll stay in the
publics eye. Probably'll get a book deal for more than he ever made in

Just to recall - it was Armstrong who initiated a public (PR) attack on
Simeoni.
Had that been both succesfully pre-emptive and completely accurate, you

almost no woman would want to be in her position, because of the effect
her notoreity has on personal relationships. in the case of simeoni he
was called to testify against ferrari.

the incident that by far got simeoni the most publicity was when lance
apparently intimidated him during the most covered race in cycling.

it doesn't matter if manning disparages the position of kicker
(actually i don't think he did -- that's you talking), field goals are
