Kate, hope that fibro goes and hides quickly.
Hugs, Donna
Thanks! Me too - in fact, I wish it would bugger off completely, but...
Gotta look on the bright side: it won't kill me and it won't cripple me, and just occasionally it's
a damned good excuse to avoid doing something!
'No, really, I'd love to join you for a half marathon/24 hr disco/10 day clubbing party in Benidorm
(insert strenuous torture of choice!), but it wouldn't be good for my fibromyalgia,' or 'I'd love to
help you take 43 kids to Disneyland Paris for 3 days, but my Fibro has flared up - I'm useless at
the moment!' (I didn't do school trips when I was teaching - I'm damned if I'm doing them now!).
Now, I'm almost sure I could find the energy and stamina to go on a 4 day all expenses paid wine
tasting trip to the Loire valley vineyards, and I'm sure that a trip to Belgium to see how they make
those fantastic fresh cream chocolates Harrods sell wouldn't tax my strength too much, but nobody
seems to be offering those opportunities at present...
