Ullrich or Rogers spring to mind as favorites but what about Voigt or even Botero (after finishing with the leading bunch in the RR possibly indicating some return to form) as dark horses (after all dark horses must have a good chance if they have access to equine growth hormone).

I have another idea: Serhiy Honchar, who also finished in the lead group.
there could be quite a bit of wind along the shore.

-Sonarrat.
My picks were about the same, but also keep in mind Cancellara, rogers or Moreau.

BTW: Does anybody know exactly how the starting times have been assigned? I checked the UCI pages but I could not find it.
It seems that it correlates to the UCI ranking, but... Does it not introduce an element of seeding in the competition that normally favours the last ones (barring weather variations)?
