  1. I respedt him as a cyclist and he does have some interesting comentary but he's to goofy and anoying. The tour "day" france!

  2. Bob Roll is not a hack on the subject of Road or Mountain Bike racing. He has raced in just about every form and locale for both disciplines. He was also chosen by Lance as a training partner when he started his cancer recovery in North Carolina. If you are in doubt of his knowledge or ability, pick up a copy of his books, Bobke and Bobke II. They give an idea of what he is all about. He is long on knowledge, and doesn't take anything too seriously.

    Maybe someone has mentioned this already ( I didn't read the entire thread) but did anyone notice that this year (2004) he was a bit more serious and not such a goofball? It was as if they made a calculated decision to have him come off more knowlegable and almost the straightman. When robin williams was on of course he couldn't help but be the straight man in comparison.
