The CBC replaced "Hockey Night in Canada" with "Movie Night in Canada"
and got lots better ratings. Pretty sad.

This announcement is for OLN USA only. We already get plenty of NHL hockey here
on the CBC, TSN, and Rogers' Sportsnet. I doubt if OLN Canada will air any
games, they will stick to their exciting lineup of Pilot Guides, bull riding,
and fishing shows. Someone put that network out of its misery.

I think TSN and OLN Canada are owned by the same company, so TSN probably gets
to air all the popular sports like hockey, baseball, golf; while OLN gets the
"freak" sports like cycling, bull riding, etc.

The "not permitted" apparently ties in with its "specialty service"

running them. What's really a sign of civilization coming to an end is

I do kinda like that bull riding...

I especially liked the series about the bulls! "Little Yellow Jacket"
is the one I remember. It told all about his life, from the time he
was a little calf until he died. Apparently he had quite a lot of
personality. After he bucked the rider off, he would turn around and
give the crowd a look (like Lance's "look"?) and people seemed to
really enjoy that.

scary though that... I also realized that they just made a friends video
collection of fist run episodes a waste of space... ok more so tan they
were already.... brain damage indeed.
