OLN Coverage

Ha! I though I was the only one who noticed. She's putting on the pounds. I think that's the problem. And yeah...she looks like a clown with all that [censored] on her face.

I hate how OLN is totally centered around Lance. It makes me concerned that the coverage will disappear when Lance and USPS are no longer major players. Like, next year maybe!

I didn't even realize it was her when I first saw the show this year. Thought they had found some new gal who knows nothing about cycling.

As far as the Lance coverage issue, OLN is a new sponsor of the USPS team this year, so you can bet they are going to toot his horn as loud as they can. (I guess that sounds a little odd, but you know what I mean)

In fact, starting on the 29th of this month, in the half hour before the road to the tour show, they are going to have a show called: "The Lance Chronicles"!

Tour de Romandie coverage on OLN..🙂Without last year`s winner..🙄

Last year's TdF coverage was very good and I liked the Flanders coverage, but the Roubaix coverage was saturated with ads and idiotic "road to the tour" [censored]. After LA is gone, I'm really worried that cycling TV coverage in the US will disappear. I like LA and all, but I like cycling in general more. The worst thing about his retirement, to me, is that we in the states might be in dark on race coverage. Reading the live coverage on cyclingnews.com doesn't compete.

I get 200 channels (including three channels dedicated to the idiotic sport of golf) and not one of them cares about cycling. I just hope US cable will eventually pick up Eurosprort.

Eurosport on American cable? You must be joking!😄 In my opinion, never! I think there are two solutions: satelite program or internet program like cycling.tv but just with improvement of internet TV, which is still in the early stages..

You know I can't remember where I was, but I was on vacation few years back, and in my hotel room I flipped on the TV and there was cycling from the Vuelta a España on this funny channel called OLN. I didn't want to leave the room and stayed until the program was over, much to the dismay of my girlfreind. A year or two later, I was paying like $100 a month for a cable package that had OLN, and I didn't mind a bit what with all the cycling(mtn biking, and other cool outdoor sports as well) they had. Sometime around two years ago it changed into this POS channel with nothing but PBR (professional bull riding) mixed with fishing shows. Needless to say I dropped it. Maybe it was a freak occurance, but I can even remember watching the tour on ESPN in like 99 or 00. Now cycling is more popular than ever in the states, and you have to watch cycling.tv if you want to get your fix 😕 Of course even with basic cable you can get the golf channel 🙄 . I guess I am in a bad position to comment on the TV in the US as I haven't lived there for a year, but at least when I left it sucked.

cycling.tv is about the only other way to get race videos aside from OLN. I don't have OLN, so I don't know what other sports are shown when the Tour de France is not on. Cycling.tv is a good start, but, unfortunately, does not have the rights to cover the major races like the TdF, Paris-Roubaix, Giro, etc. Hopefully, though, they'll gain more access.

Get OLN web coverage of the Giro for $6....for the whole 3 weeks(except weekends). It's incredible coverage: the raw Italian feed with no commentary and 2.5 hours each day and you can watch archives anytime!!!!

I didn't know about it and my girlfriend got it for me and now she's [censored] 'cause I'm dorked out at the computer all eve.

My computer (Government owned. SHHHH!) must be old because at best, I get that 'one picture every two or three seconds' coverage on the OLN feed. But I guess its better than nothing. I miss Paul, Phil, and Bob.

I watch the OLN feed and then go to the Eurosport and get live audio. It is pretty good. You can also a live Italian feed from this
