    Oh, and they can also be called "Filberts". Different name, same nut.

    You have access to the internet. Why didn't you search out the definition of
    'hazelnut' and 'praline' before posting this? Then, you wouldn't have had to

    Hazel/filberts are not "regular" in some senses.
    I sometimes think that walnuts and pecans are the
    "regular" nuts shaped like brains. So the smooth
    round ones like filbert or macadamia aren't
    regular. ;^)
