  1. I confess. I have been riding about a hundred miles per week for the last
couple of weeks. ON A ROAD BIKE. I still cling to the roots of
mountainbiking. I wear a lid with a visor. And I don't shave my legs. I
switched from baggies to lycra though. Anyone else have this secret in
their closet. Its okay. Its not your fault Will. Its not your fault.

I do it midweek in warmer temps (march - october), about 30 miles a
night at 21-23 mph (it's flat here). MTB on weekends and an occasional
    night ride.

When will *you people* start taking responsibility for your own
actions?!?!?! Nobody forced you to do it, you're just bent toward deviant,
destructive, disgusting and abhorrent behaviour because you enjoy it!!!

Lycra is where I draw he line. A guy with my build just doesn't look
right in lycra. I managed to never wear lycra outfits in the gym for
years when every other muscle and fitness wannabe was sporting them.
Nope, gimme my baggies and I'll be fine as long as the legs do not go
    below my knees.

    Peace.

  9. Ahh, the rush of the wind, the silence of the tires on asphalt, the
meditative aspect of your legs pumping rhythmically, your large,
muscular ass, perfectly round caressed in brightly colored spandex....
    FOOTBALL!

My wife says I'm maybe the only person she's ever seen who can wear
Lycra and have it a little baggy in the back.
I've admitted it before, but I'm not ashamed to say again I do the
occasional road ride for variety or when the trails are inaccessible. I
haven't ridden anything but skis since November and I even went to the
garage yesterday (after shoveling/chipping the ice and snow away from
the door so it would open) and gave my bikes a longing look.

Matt (nice powder day at Monarch yesterday AGAIN)
