Probably because you haven't made one single response to replies to your
OP related to the subject. If you were in a pub and asked a question,
the person you were asking would answer. Would you just walk away
whilst they were answering? This is what you are doing, metaphorically.

The last time I went over the bars was riding my relatively new Birdy
down an icy hill track. I was getting cocky and pride came before a
fall.

The time before that a few years ago I fell down the slots in a gully
cover whilst manoeuvring at traffic lights on my road bike. A very
slow motion display seen by dozens of drivers :-(

A few years ago at Coed-y-Brenin, using too much front brake whilst
going down some rocky steps - not so much scary as embarrasing, due to
presence of better half behind me who was walking down said steps :(

I have no experience of going over the handlebars, I've just seen it
happen a few times buddy.
