  1. Some of you are probably already aware of this. If not, here is a fantastic
opportunity to have those interested in the sport of off-road cycling get
involved in the process of access and land use issues.

"LATEST NEWS: Again this year, a large bipartisan group of Members of
Congress have taken a stand for wildlife. Specifically, 128 Representatives
and 55 Senators have signed on to letters of support for a funding level of
at least $85 million for State Wildlife Grants. Thank your Members of
    Congress for signing these letters!"

The "information gathering" process is under way. Groups interested in
outdoor recreation (including off road cyclists) are encouraged to
participate. Congress has designated money for every state to have a
standardized Wildlife Conservation Strategy. This all comes to a head in
    October of THIS year.

Wildlife conservation is important. Habitat conservation is important.
However, advocates of off-road cycling could see ramifications in designated
multi-use areas if the voices of the community are not heard. Outdoor
recreation is one of the topics to be reviewed. Lets make sure they have
    valid information concerning off-road cycling.

Speak up. Check the website: http://www.teaming.com/index.htm for more
details on each State and the efforts of everyone. Wilderness designations
for wildlife conservation and the sport of off-road cycling in designated
parks and multi-use areas are not exclusive issues. By speaking up, we can
help in the process of preserving the wildlife and preserve our sport in the
continued access to areas where cycling is currently permissable.

We all know a certain "you know who" is burning postage to get his viewpoint
in. We owe the people working on this program a sane and cooperative voice
    to counter his selective ramblings.

Which one? The one you use to justify your opinion as "truth"? I'll pass.
"Fact" and "truth" are two different things... or didn't they cover that at
    UCLA?
