I noticed something about my front fork, and wheel today. The front wheel is not centered under
the fork. It is about 1 cm to the right, looking at the headset and visualizing a line down. The
front wheel is straight, but when looking down from the handlebars, it is a little to the left (in
this case).
Does anyone else have experience with this situation? I am not sure, but I shipped my bike overseas,
and perhaps the forks were slightly bent en route. I doubt it, but maybe. The bike is new, and I
don't recall if this was the situation before shipping, I didn't look or notice. I did notice that
it was a little more difficult to put the front wheel on when I was putting my bike back together.
Also, if the fork is slightly bent, what problems can this cause? Is the structural integrity of the
fork compromised?
But, the ride is great, it's just annoying to notice that the front tire is a little to the left
when I look down.
Thanks
