We've got this road race which is about 115 miles long. It's an open class so every races together.
The first 30 miles is neutral. Which means you can't pass the pace vehicle. The pace vehicle stays
at 20 mph till it pulls off the road and the cyclists can start the real race. The race passes
under this viaduct around the 20 mile mark. This is where everyone who has to go jumps into the
bushes to do their business before latching back on the pack. Since the pace is a neutral 20 mph
it's not hard to do.
My friend had been training for this race by riding the course and even determining which bush he
was going to jump into to take a leak. A quick in and out of the bush and bridge back to the pack.
On race day every thing went as planned. He spotted his bush and proceeded to veer off the pack and
jumped into the bush. He was ready to let it loose when he heard a glushing sound next to him. A
girl racer had followed him into the bush, squatted next to him and let loose. He's standing there
with his d*ck in hand and couldn't go. The girl pulled her lycra up and was bridging to latch on the
pack. Even after she was gone, he couldn't go. After he finally was able to relax and pee, the pack
was really far up the road. He did eventually gap before the neutral portion was over, but it took a
lot of energy doing do. He didn't expect to do well anyway but he got dropped on the first major
attack and straggled in with all the dropped riders.
He probably wouldn't finish the race if the girl stood and peed rather than squatted.

Ahhhrrrrrrmmmm. A *real sailor* never hangs it over the railing. He'll pee or take a dump in a
bucket or bottle which then can be easily rinsed. There are far too many drowned people recovered
with their fly open, usually in the calmest waters.

On the contrary. He probably would never have noticed it was a chick if she'd been standing up.

Usually, that's when one just goes for a "swim" - or has a seat on the swimdeck for a few minutes!
It would be quite the interesting sight indeed if some chick dropped trou on the back of a boat in a
crowded waterway and used one of those things..

who said sailing?... I'm talking whitewater here. We don't carry a bucket because we either are on
the cataraft ( where you drop in between the tubes) or the raft, which is a self bailer and has no
bail bucket. and yes, "taking a swim" works in the summer, but not in 38 degree snowmelt run off.

Obviously, most people would wait until a calm bit, but not our Penny. She likes to add an extra
dimension to her rafting ;~p

Ok. But I assure you I wouldn't bother hanging it outside. In water like that you can pee wherever
you want and it will be washed out immediately 😉 Besides in cold water like that the guys can't
find it anyway 😉)
