  3. Forgot mine!

NYNY - I'm going with 217. It was 219 this morning, but I've been in some "digestive distress"
(nicest thing I could think of to call it) for days which is starting to let up and lo and behold
I'm 217 this afternoon. So I figure if I show a lower weight after eating breakfast and lunch then
that's the weight I'm going to use!

THTP - 4 days - didn't quite meet my goal of 5 but it's close enough.

  4. NYNY Weigh In: 150.6 - no loss, no gain. I've been off program for over a week, as a reward for
meeting my Christmas goal. Although today's actual weight is 1.5 up from last week at the same time,
the average for the past week is the same. I am back on program, and am looking forward to being a
    loser again!

  5. NYNY - didn't weigh in officially this week, but the home scales are showing
a maintain again. I'm actually quite happy where I am, so I'm not actively
trying to lose at the moment. I may feel differently next week 🙂

THTP - Hard to keep track, but I think it's around the 3 mark. I'm introducing weights to supplement
the regular walking as of this week (finally bought a decent dumbell set), so that should help get
me up to my target of 4.

  7. Went back on plan last Tuesday and have a pound and a half loss to show for it. Now that I've
started watching the points again, I should probably actually eat FOOD. My diet 3 days this week
consisted of an egg with toast, a bowl of cereal and the rest of the points made up by clementines,
grapefruit, baby carrots, cookies and European chocolate. Umm, yeah, healthy.

I did snack my way through putting up my Christmas tree at the last minute (on the 23rd) -- an
entire tray of carrots, celery, broccoli and mini tomatos that you buy for parties. There were only
2 points on the entire tray if I did the math right since I did not eat the ranch that came with it
and instead subbed 1 tablespoon of Lite Catalina (a point for that). My mom said that I must have
been missing my veggies to have gone to town like that. I definitely agree with that. I am the
veggie eater of the family though and always have been.

My parents brought over my mother's old bike since she does not use it. It has been years since I've
been on a bike - mine was slightly too small and I never felt like spending the money on a new one.
Not technically a Christmas present, but I got it on Xmas eve. 🙂 I'll try it out again when the
    weather warms up.

    NYNY final - 183. THTP - 5 times.

  18. No, all my dreams lately have been swimming in chocolate pools, and other nightmares of that type!
Could be because of all the waking hours I've spent up to my elbows (literally) in candymaking!

  20. Final week (I think) for the NYNY shows me with a gain (dang holidays anyway - lol). Official
results bright and early this morning had me at 130.8 - up 1.8 pounds since last week. Looking at
the larger picture (the past 13 weeks) does brighten me up though. I am down from when the challenge
started, well below my danger zone and definitely appear to have the hang of maintenance. Now to
work on getting those holiday *habits* back under control. <g>

The good news is .... I did get back to the treadmill, which honestly was a huge step. I don't know
where my mind has been at the past few weeks, another thing to work on. I was on the computer this
morning, procrastinating (as usual) about heading to the basement when realization and reality hit
me. There really was no REASON that I couldn't take time to exercise, even if only for a few minutes
... everything was only EXCUSES. And boy is there a huge difference between the two. I teach my
children the same thing, guess I need to get better at practicing what I preach. <g> So downstairs I
trodded, told myself it was ok to work slowly back into a routine. I ended up going longer than I
planned, at a higher speed and incline - although not what I was up to before. But this is still
better than nothing! 30 minutes flew by, and I feel so much better now that I have once again taken
    that first step.

I am feeling so much more positive today, ready and able to tackle the world. <G>
